How your details are used

Payment for The Intuitive Artist is taken by Stripe on Stripe's own secure pages. When you book, Stripe collects your name, email address and payment details; card details are never seen or stored by this website. Anne-Marie receives your name and email address from Stripe so she can send your Zoom joining link, a receipt and any practical notes about the event. This processing is necessary to perform the contract with you.

Booking records are kept for as long as required for accounting and tax purposes (normally six years in the UK).

The form near the bottom of the event page collects only your name and email address. These are submitted directly to this website and stored in a private, access-controlled database; they are never opened in your own email application and are not visible to other visitors.

They are used for one purpose only: to let you know when new dates for this kind of event are released. There is no newsletter, no marketing from other businesses, and your details are never sold or shared for marketing. This processing relies on your consent, given when you submit the form.

You can ask to be removed at any time and your details will be deleted promptly. Entries are removed once they are no longer relevant, or on request.

To protect the form from automated abuse, the site briefly keeps a scrambled, one-way code derived from the network address the form was sent from, together with the time of sending. The address itself is never stored and the code cannot be turned back into it. These records are used solely to limit how often the form can be submitted from one connection and are deleted automatically within 24 hours. This relies on Anne-Marie's legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.

A small number of trusted service providers process data on Anne-Marie's behalf: Stripe (payments), Zoom (delivering the live session), and the hosting and database provider that runs this website and stores form entries. Each is bound to use the information only to provide their service. Information may be stored on servers inside or outside the UK and EU, with appropriate safeguards in place.

This site does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics profiling. Only essential technology is used, so the pages work and forms can be submitted safely. Because no non-essential cookies are set, you are not asked to accept a cookie banner.

If you follow a link away from this site, for example to Stripe's checkout, Zoom, YouTube or Anne-Marie's other websites, those services set their own cookies and have their own privacy notices.

You have the right to ask for a copy of the information held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to withdraw consent, and to object to or restrict how it is used.
